รศรรสำฦต and Wayne State College Sign Agreement

รศรรสำฦต and Wayne State College have signed a new agreement that provides expanded educational opportunities for รศรรสำฦต students.
The new degree partnership allows graduates who complete their associate of applied science degrees at รศรรสำฦต to transfer all of their completed academic credits to Wayne State to earn a bachelorโs degree in technology. The agreement allows WSC to accept up to 80 credit hours for the 120-credit hour program.
โThis agreement is an outstanding opportunity for our รศรรสำฦต alumni throughout our 25-county service area to get full credit for their associate degree from รศรรสำฦต and up to a third year of additional hours they may have picked up at รศรรสำฦต or other colleges,โ said รศรรสำฦต President Dr. Matt Gotschall (pictured right). โCurrent students will benefit from this program as well, especially since students should be able to complete their bachelorโs degree in technology while working and living in their รศรรสำฦต area community.โ
รศรรสำฦต and WSC will collaborate on recruitment, advising, and retention efforts that are mutually beneficial to both institutions. To assist prospective transfer students enrolled in the program with their academic planning, students from รศรรสำฦต are strongly encouraged to work with an academic advisor at WSC and an academic advisor at รศรรสำฦต. Students transferring from รศรรสำฦต must meet WSCโs admission standards and will have the opportunity to apply for WSC transfer student scholarships.

Most importantly, itโs a real win for the business community because keeps those students in (รศรรสำฦตโs area) working with their employers and fine tuning their skills to become an even more significant part of the organization in the future.โ
The agreement between WSC and รศรรสำฦต will be effective for five years and administrators from both institutions will meet annually to review it.
